Staffordshire Police sued by Levi Walker and Antonio Christie

The Express and Star newspaper is reporting that Antonio Christie and Levi Walker, two of the men originally jailed for the murder of Kevin Nunes, are suing Staffordshire Police.

In 2008 Christie and Walker, alongside Adam Joof, Owen Crooks and Michael Osbourne, were jailed for the murder of promising footballer Kevin Nunes. However, their convictions were overturned four years later when a series of mistakes and improper practices were revealed within Staffordshire Police.

The Express and Star states that legal proceedings have begun, with Staffordshire Police declining to explain further.
