Nottingham Crown Court 1992
Breaches of PACE
Colly Wilson is black, but was convicted despite witness statements that both men who committed the crime were white.
He spent over 40 hours in police custody and his alleged confession followed an unauthorised visit to his cell by a detective sergeant, who made no record of this interview.
His lawyer was not present when the alleged confession was made.
